If you want to know where the gaming world is headed… you don’t guess—you show up. That’s exactly what I’m doing this week at the East Coast Gaming Congress (ECGC) at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
I’ll be in the room for a bunch of these breakout sessions, listening, learning, and yeah—having a few real conversations with the people actually shaping what’s next for Atlantic City and the entire East Coast gaming scene.
If you’ve never heard of ECGC, here’s the deal: it’s one of the most important gatherings in the gaming industry. We’re talking top executives, regulators, casino operators, tech innovators—all under one roof. This isn’t a trade show vibe… it’s where decisions, trends, and future strategies start to take shape.
And this year? It’s loaded.
One session I’ve got circled is all about Artificial Intelligence and player engagement. That’s not just buzzwords—that’s how casinos are learning who you are, what you like, and how to keep you coming back. I’ve already had a few off-the-record chats about this… and trust me, it’s moving fast.
Another one that caught my attention: Gaming Regulation in Transition. Sounds dry? It’s not. This is where the real battles are happening—what gets approved, what gets blocked, and how new ideas like online gaming and prediction markets fit into the future.
