We’re Going LIVE! Brute’s Roots Celebrates 3 Years — And The AC Mike Podcast Is Taking the Show on the Road

Folks, this is going to be a fun one. On Tuesday, September 1, we’re heading to Brute’s Roots in Egg Harbor Township for their 3-Year Anniversary Celebration — and we’re bringing The AC Mike Podcast with us. For the first time ever, The AC Mike Podcast is going LIVE on location. No studio. No talking about what happened after the fact. We’re putting the microphones right in the middle of the celebration and bringing you along with us.

Three Years of Brute’s Roots

I’ve talked about Brute’s Roots before, but there’s a reason I keep coming back to this local company. They’re South Jersey people building a South Jersey business, and they’ve grown from an idea into a vertically integrated cannabis operation with cultivation, manufacturing, their own products, and dispensary locations in Egg Harbor Township and Paulsboro. What I like about their story is that growth hasn’t changed the focus on the customer. Education, affordability, making people comfortable enough to ask questions, and treating customers like people instead of transactions — those are things Josh DiNatale and I talked about when he joined me on the podcast, and they’re a big part of what has helped Brute’s Roots grow while staying true to where they started.

Now We’re Taking the Podcast LIVE

This is the part I’m really looking forward to. Beginning at 4 PM on September 1, The AC Mike Podcast will be live from Brute’s Roots in Egg Harbor Township for our first-ever live on-location show. I’ll be talking with the Brute’s Roots team, customers, and some of the people stopping by throughout the celebration. This is where I want the podcast to go — not only sitting down for longer conversations with the people shaping Atlantic City and South Jersey, but getting out into the businesses, events, attractions, and communities where the stories are actually happening. Brute’s Roots is our first live stop, and I have a feeling it won’t be our last.

Come Celebrate With Us

Brute’s Roots has plenty happening throughout the day at its Egg Harbor Township location at 6206 Black Horse Pike. There will be 2-for-Tuesday deals, free Brute’s Roots T-shirts while supplies last, and a hot dog and pretzel cart from 3 PM to 6 PM. Then at 4 PM, The AC Mike Podcast goes live. I’ll be talking with folks on site, catching up with the Brute’s Roots crew, and announcing the winners of the anniversary giveaway. Come over, grab something to eat, say hello, and hang around for the show. This isn’t one where I want you sitting home hearing about it afterward — come be part of it.

And Somebody Is Going Home With Phillies Tickets

The anniversary giveaway has some nice prizes attached to it. First prize includes four Phillies tickets in Section 112 for the September 4 game, preferred parking, a $150 Brute’s Roots gift certificate, and Brute’s Roots merchandise. Second prize is a $100 Brute’s Roots gift certificate, and third prize is a $50 gift certificate. There’s still time to enter by stopping by the Egg Harbor Township location in person. This One Is Personal for Me

I’ve known the people behind Brute’s Roots for a long time — long before there was a dispensary and long before there was an AC Mike podcast. That makes this celebration a little more personal for me. I’ve watched this family take an idea, work through the challenges that come with building a business in a brand-new industry, and turn it into a homegrown company that now reaches customers throughout New Jersey. I’ve also had the chance to spend time with the people behind the operation and hear firsthand what goes into growing, manufacturing, retail, customer education, and everything else happening behind the scenes. Now Brute’s Roots is also the place where we get to take a big step forward with The AC Mike Podcast by going live on location for the first time. Two South Jersey brands growing together and trying something new — I like that.
