“AC Mike” Lopez knows the ins and outs of Atlantic City like none other. I’ve known Mike for decades, and through his work promoting Atlantic City tourism over the internet, radio, in person and television he has become the city's biggest ambassador. Truly an Atlantic City icon, my original contact with Mike was in creating an Casino Reinvestment Development Authority CRDA Ambassador program. Mike served admirably as one of our supervisors with Ambassador and 'SID' Special Improvement Division of the CRDA. His positive energy, leadership skills and management skills proved a winning combination for these programs. He even coined the phrase “Live, Work, Play AC”. His passion keeps me hopeful that Atlantic City’s best days are yet to come. Mike also was instrumental in many of my initiatives as Mayor such as rebuilding the Boardwalk, LED street lighting, police security camera's and surveillance center rebuilding two of our parks, not to mention tens of  thousands of people check-in as he promotes many major events, restaurant's and community happenings in Atlantic City on Mikes social media and traditional platforms.

My admiration for AC Mike started during my stay at the Ocean. I booked his "tram tour" and now I'm so glad I did!! His professionalism and genuine kindness made the tram tour something special to remember. I now start every day checking out his Facebook post. He motivates me to start the day with a positive outlook. I also shared his page with my family & friends. Recently retired to Florida after 40 years in the sports handicapping industry. Worked for a company that advertised on the ESPN radio station in AC and on WIP in Philly and WFAN in NY along with most big sports stations in big cities across the country. We had a TV show in the 90's on Sportschannel across the country filmed at Resorts. As Recently as two years ago was flying up from Palm Beach to AC every weekend to go to the best sportsbook on the east coast at the Ocean Casino. Enjoy your videos on Facebook and try to catch your radio show when I can. The Ocean took tremendous care of me and I miss it greatly. I only got up there once in Sept to see Maniscalco. I hear you say on the radio that you don't gamble. The best move to ever made. Good luck and don't freeze you nuts off
