Rock, Boats & Boogie on the Boardwalk
Hey Folks,
If you were looking for an excuse to plan a late-February getaway, Atlantic City just handed you three of them. This is one of those weekends where you can feel the energy coming back to the Shore — live music, big shows, and the Convention Center packed wall to wall.
Let’s break it down.
First up — if you’re a Bon Jovi fan (and around here, who isn’t?) — 1 Wild Night: The Ultimate Bon Jovi Experience is taking over Boogie Nights on Saturday, February 28th. It’s that high-energy, sing-every-word kind of night. Doors open at 7, show at 8, and your ticket even gets you into the club. Twenty bucks for a full night out? That’s how you do it right in Atlantic City.

Now the night before, February 27th, you’ve got a big one at Borgata. Boy George & Culture Club hit the Event Center at 9PM. “Karma Chameleon,” “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” — this is soundtrack-of-your-life stuff. Pair that concert with dinner and an overnight at Borgata and you’ve got yourself a full Shore experience.

If rock is more your speed, Hard Rock Live is bringing the noise with Three Days Grace – Alienation Tour. Hard Rock has really locked in as one of the top rooms for live music in town. Dinner, drinks, casino floor, big arena sound — all under one roof.

And during the day? The Atlantic City Boat Show runs February 25th through March 1st at the Convention Center. Boats, fishing seminars, gear, dreaming about summer at the Shore — it’s all there. Even if you’re just browsing, it’s one of those classic winter traditions that reminds you warm weather isn’t that far off.

And while we’re talking community, I love seeing organizations like ACUA keeping creativity alive with their annual contest. Over 200 entries this year from local residents — that’s Shore pride right there. It’s a great reminder that Atlantic County always shows up.

This is exactly why I’m always talking about Things to do in Atlantic City. One weekend. Five completely different vibes. Rock concert, ‘80s icons, Bon Jovi tribute, boats, and community creativity.
Make it a night. Better yet, make it a weekend. Book a room, grab dinner, stay late, sleep in. Support the venues that keep the lights on and the music playing.
Hope you include us Atlantic City in your plans this weekend.
