Atlantic City Goes Green – The 38th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Is Back 🍀
Hey Folks,
If you’ve never seen the Atlantic City Boardwalk turn completely green, this is your year. The 38th Annual Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set for Saturday, March 7th at 1:00(ish) PM — and trust me, there’s nothing like it when 50,000+ people pack the boards to celebrate Irish pride Jersey Shore style.
This isn’t just a parade. It’s one of the biggest Things to do in Atlantic City all year.
🍀 Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade steps off near Ocean Casino Resort at Rhode Island Avenue and rolls two miles down to Albany Avenue by Stockton.
Here’s how the day shakes out:
• 11:00 AM – Participants line up
• 12:00 PM – Floats locked and loaded
• 1:00(ish) PM – We go green
Expect pipe bands, string bands, Irish dancers, decorated floats, and over 100 marching groups bringing that energy all afternoon long. And yes — it’s completely FREE to watch.
Break out the green. Even if you’re not Irish… you are on March 7th.
👏 Meet Your 2026 Grand Marshal
This year’s Grand Marshal is Daniel J. Gallagher — lifelong Atlantic City guy, attorney, entrepreneur, Holy Spirit grad, former Beach Patrol member… the real deal.
Dan’s family roots in Atlantic City go back to 1918. He’s served on everything from the Housing Authority to local redevelopment efforts, and he’s been a dedicated member of the Parade Committee alongside his wife Denise since 2021.
This honor fits. Tradition. Service. AC pride.
Sláinte, Dan — we’ll see you at the front of the line.

🍻 Where The Party Continues
After the last bagpipe fades, the celebration keeps rolling.
Pop into Resorts Casino Hotel for the Tipsy Leprechaun pop-up (opening March 6) — green tea shots and live entertainment? Don’t mind if I do.
Grab a slice and a pint at Tony’s Baltimore Grill — a true AC classic and unofficial parade headquarters.
Make it a full night and catch David Spade performing at Ovation Hall inside Ocean Casino Resort that evening. Parade by day, comedy show by night. That’s how you do a Shore Saturday.
And if you’re coming in from out of town? Stay on the Boardwalk. Walk to everything. No stress. Just good vibes and ocean air.
🎉 Want To March?
If your organization, business, or group wants to be part of the action, you can apply right here:

This parade keeps getting bigger every year — and it’s because the community shows up.
If you missed it, here’s my piece from when I rolled in with the crew last time — good memories right here:

Mark the calendar. Book the room. Tell your crew.
Atlantic City goes green on March 7th — and there’s no better place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than the world-famous Boardwalk.
