Governor Mikie Sherrill Heads to Atlantic City for Major Orange Loop Ribbon Cutting
Hey Folks,
One thing I’ve always said about Atlantic City… the comeback is real when people are actually investing in YEAR-ROUND living here — not just weekends and casino traffic.
That’s why this week’s ribbon cutting for The Residences at Orange Loop matters.
On Wednesday, May 20 at 11am, state and local leaders including New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill and Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small will officially unveil this new luxury townhome development located at 107 S Kentucky Avenue in the heart of the Orange Loop.
I’ve watched the Orange Loop evolve over the years from an overlooked section of town into one of the most energetic pockets in Atlantic City. You now have restaurants, nightlife, beach access, entertainment, and now more upscale residential living all within walking distance of the Boardwalk.
If you know Atlantic City, you know Kentucky Avenue has become one of those streets people suddenly WANT to be around.
The project comes from Zoubek Properties, led by Brian Zoubek, who continues putting serious investment into Atlantic City beyond the casino floor. These new residences feature rooftop ocean views, oversized garages, designer interiors, and beach block access just steps from the sand.
That’s the kind of development that changes perception.
For years, people talked about Atlantic City being seasonal. But projects like this push the city toward becoming a true coastal destination where people can actually live, work, invest, and stay year-round.
And honestly? That’s good for everybody — local businesses, restaurants, entertainment venues, and the overall energy of the city.
If you’re looking for things to do in Atlantic City, this is also a reminder that there’s a LOT happening beyond the casinos right now.
