Raise a Glass at the Absecon Lighthouse Wine Tasting Porch Party
Hey Folks,
If you’re looking for one of the most unique ways to spend a summer evening in Atlantic City, I’ve got a recommendation for you. The Wine Tasting Porch Party is coming up on Saturday, August 8 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the historic Absecon Lighthouse, and I hope you’ll join me because I’ll actually be behind the bar pouring wine throughout the evening.
It’s going to be a lot of fun, and I’d love the chance to meet many of you in person while supporting one of Atlantic City’s most treasured landmarks.
I’ve always believed the Absecon Lighthouse is one of our community’s hidden gems. Whether you’ve climbed all 228 steps before or you’ve been meaning to visit for years, this event is the perfect excuse to experience New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse while helping preserve an important piece of our history.
An Evening to Remember
The Wine Tasting Porch Party combines great wine, delicious food, music, and spectacular views into one unforgettable evening.
- Six wine tastings
- Gourmet lite fare by White Horse Wine & Spirits
- Music from DJ Franny
- Wine Pull raffle
- Sunset lighthouse climbs overlooking Atlantic City
Tickets are $50 when purchased in advance and $60 at the door. Buying your tickets early not only saves you money, but also helps the Lighthouse team plan for food and wine so everyone has a great experience.
I’ll be bartending during the event, so don’t be shy—stop by, say hello, enjoy a tasting, and let’s talk about everything happening around Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to meet the people who listen to the show and read these newsletters, and this is a great opportunity to do just that.
Support a Local Treasure
The Absecon Lighthouse has been welcoming visitors since 1857 and remains one of South Jersey’s most iconic landmarks. Every ticket sold helps support the preservation of this incredible historic site so future generations can continue enjoying its rich history and breathtaking views.
If you’ve never made the climb, this is the perfect opportunity. And if it’s been a while since your last visit, you’ll be reminded why it’s one of my favorite things to do in Atlantic City.
