Tropicana Lights Up the Weekend With Fireworks, Nightlife & Summer Fun

If you’re looking for an excuse to get down to Atlantic City this weekend, you don’t have to look very hard. Summer is officially starting to feel like summer, and Tropicana Atlantic City has a full lineup of entertainment, nightlife, gaming promotions, and one of my favorite Boardwalk traditions—fireworks over the beach.

Whether you’re making it a date night, a weekend getaway, or just looking for some fun after dinner, Tropicana has something happening around every corner.

And if you’re getting an early start to the weekend, I’ll be hosting another AC Mike’s Boardwalk Tram Tour on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM. If you’ve ever wanted to hear the stories behind the Boardwalk, the casinos, the famous landmarks, and some of Atlantic City’s unforgettable characters, hop aboard. We’ve got a few seats left, and it’s always a great ride.

The big headline this weekend is Saturday night’s free fireworks show. At 10 PM on June 6, the sky over the beach and Boardwalk will light up right outside Tropicana. I’ve watched plenty of fireworks displays over the years, and there’s just something special about seeing them explode over the Atlantic Ocean with the Boardwalk buzzing below.

Before and after the fireworks, the party keeps rolling inside. Boogie Nights brings the dance floor energy all weekend long, while Kiss Kiss Nightclub welcomes DJ Fah D on Friday and Christopher Roberts on Saturday.

Sports fans and night owls can head over to Rickey’s Sports Bar & Lounge, where DJ Dougie Fresh and DJ Micahphone Checka will be keeping the crowd moving throughout the weekend.

If gaming is more your speed, the Tropicana Poker Room is running its High Hand of the Hour promotion Friday through Sunday, awarding $300 every hour for qualifying hands. Slot players can also take advantage of Sunday’s 20X Next Day Free Slot Play promotion.

And if you’re looking for something a little more relaxed, the IMAX Theatre is now featuring Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on the giant screen.
